At Pinelands Baptist Church, we are passionate about our kids ministry and the families and children that make up our church. The programmes mentioned below run weekly during school terms.

Children and Youth Programmes are run weekly by committed, energetic, and enthusiastic leaders who want to make a lasting impact.
Programmes include games, fun, worship, friends, and learning about God.

Who: Grades R – 5

HOLIDAY CLUB
Every year during June/July school holidays we
run a fun program for kids grades R – 7.
2023 - Watch this space!
At Wonder Zone we will explore Bible stories that inspire children towards scientific discoveries and encountering a creative God who wants to be their friend. We want to experience the wonder and awe of knowing God and meeting Jesus through exploring his creation. From the wonders of the universe, to colours of the rainbow, to the creatures in nature and the world of robots – join us for this adventure!
You can register your child(ren) in-person at Holiday Club.

Dress up themes
From Day 2 we have fun dress up themes!
-Tuesday: spaced out hair day
– Wednesday: ‘I wonder what you are…’ (dress up as anything and we guess what you are!)
– Thursday: inside out, back to front day
– Friday: pyjama day
What to bring
If you have special medication – please bring it along with instructions for one of our leaders to assist if necessary.
Parents and guardians – this is for you!
In the mornings we run registration and signing in of kids – with coffee for you while you wait! We would love to get to know you – so please feel free to speak to one of our team parents who will be mingling at the registration stations.
What happens on the day?
In the morning, kids are signed in by guardians / parents and enter the school hall where our team of leaders will be present to welcome them with games and fun. From there we will have a mixture of teaching time, worship through music, games and small groups. At 12.30pm, parents and guardians arrive to fetch kids.
What else is there to check out at Pinelands Baptist Church?
Our church runs various programs and courses that may be of interest to you. Just to name a few: Alpha Course – do you have questions about life and faith? This is a great space to explore that with others. Divorce Care – a space for divorcees to find wholeness and community. Grief Share – a space for anyone dealing with loss and grief. Love After Marriage – a journey into deeper spiritual, emotional and sexual oneness. Lerato’s Hope and Mercy & Justice have opportunities for volunteering or experiential learning on issues of social justice while connecting to faith. We also have life groups in our church – some with specific focuses: discovering God’s voice (1), intergenerational life group with kids and engaging with outward mission (2), young adults (3), youth (4) and more.
