Focus on the Family: Date Night & Marriage Champion

Date Night: Cracking the Code (16 October 2017 @ 7pm – 9.30pm) is a special event that encourages couples to date each other again. This year our Date Night event is entitled: “Cracking the Code”. Dr Gary and Barb Rosberg will speak about the covenant of marriage, how to love, honour and cherish your wife (and respect your husband). How do you “Crack the Code” and live this out day to day? And what gets in the way of Cracking the Code and honoring the fulfillment of your covenant? They will explore the role of empathy in marriage and coach on how we can nourish our wives, understand our husbands and experience a greater depth of intimacy. It will be a fun and entertaining evening that will encourage you to experience the joy in marriage when
we allow God in the midst of our lives and families.

This Marriage Champion event (17 October 2017 @ 9am – 11.30am) is designed to both encourage pastoral and church leaders as well as those who serve marriages in and outside the church. As leaders there are times we need to carve out time “just for us”. This gathering is such a time. Your own marriages, as well as the service you provide to others, will be strengthened through this event. Resources to equip you and assist with hosting retreats, small groups and church wide gatherings affirming strong marriages and families will be highlighted and provided.
